Stanley Kubrick: photography

Before he became a filmmaker, the very young Stanley Kubrick worked as a photographer for Look Magazine in New York, and The Museum of the City of New York are currently showing some of these in an exhibition entitled Through a Different Lens.

Here are some of my faves; of the street scenes, trains and showgirls encountered by the then 17-year-old Kubrick.
